The new enhanced Performant RAC website is LIVE! The content of the website has not changed. All your familiar links, forms, and information sources are still available. We encourage you to click through the pages and become familiar with the new layout. The website will look different but it contains the same content as the previous website, with just a new and enhanced look and feel. We believe you will find it easier to locate the information you’re seeking. Medical records for our first set of ADR’s have been coming in at a record pace. Thank you! In order to keep operations running smoothly, we have a few tips for those submitting records via CD or FAX that will help to ensure your records are processed timely and accurately:
- Files loaded to CD’s must be loaded with the proper naming convention of NPI-Claim number (an example can be found in the ADR letter).
- If submitting a large record on a CD (200 MB+), please break it into volumes (i.e. NPI-Claim number Vol 1, NPI-Claim Number Vol 2, etc.). If you do not want to break it into volumes, please ensure the settings on the CD allow us to modify the files so that we can separate large files into volumes for you.
- When submitting CD’s with passwords, please use the standard password found in the ADR letter or if submitting with your own password please email that password to the RAC Mailbox at email@example.com before sending us the CD.
- If you want to fax records, please limit the page count to 50 pages or less. Faxes larger than 50 pages will fail or be incomplete due to size and transmission time limitations (meaning the Fax machine will “time-out” and the transmission will fail). Records larger than 50 pages must be submitted via CD, Paper, or esMD.
If there is an error in the submission format, Customer Service will make a courtesy call to advise you of the error. If the files are submitted incorrectly or fail a second time, the files will be rejected and you will have to resubmit them with the correct format. Please don’t forget, you can check status for the receipt of records by signing into the provider portal.
